Road plate Hire

We have a complete range of road crossing plates available for rental on a long or short term basis. All of them are made of high tensile steel and have some form of grip or anti-skid covering. Our hire rates are extremely competitive.

What are Road plates used for?

Traditionally used for bridging open excavations or trenches on road crossings they can also be used for a variety of other purposes. Including; spreading a load over unstable or weak ground under crane outriggers or under a heavy load, gaining vehicular access over a sensitive area or structure, providing a smooth, even surface for shifting machinery across on industrial moves where skates or air skates are required.

Where can Road plates be delivered?

We deliver anywhere in the U.K with our own fleet of crane lorries, including the Tfl low emission zone (LEZ). Wherever road plates are needed, they can be deployed.

Handling and storing Road plates

Holes in the corners of the road plates allow for safe handling of the plates with HIAB or any other type of crane. They can of course be stacked and moved with a forklift truck.
