Sheet Piles
Another use for sheet piles (trench sheets) is for stabilising ground on the banks of rivers, lakes, ponds and oceans. The interlocking nature means that in-fill media in coffer dams or dykes doesn’t necessarily have to be resistant to water erosion E.g sand, alluvial clay and gravels. Again the trench sheets can be left in situ as a long term solution or removed as a project moves forward and used again.
