These engineered items were born out of the Aston-Mat project. Where multiple cycles of bolting down and re-lifting into the exact same positions were required. Because these incorporate a standard engineering type thread, it opens up the option of using the range of secure headed fixings such as ‘tamper proof’, ‘security torx’ and ‘security-hex headed’ fixings giving an extra level of security where unauthorised interference needs to be forbidden.
