A long standing customer, WHITE HORSE CONTRACTORS, had a project at CHELSEA F.C’s Stamford Bridge ground. A below ground service trench, about 100 m long, needed covers that were durable, strong, not prone to theft or interference, but safe to remove and handle on occasions when access was required with heavy vehicles to the services within.
Having used our standard hire fleet before they approached us for some bespoke materials. We were able to provide 26 pieces of precision sheared 20 mm plate, coated with resin encapsulated aggregate anti-slip. At our suggestion, they were fitted with SALLY sockets, meaning if that going forward, the lifting and replacing of them will be very simple.
