A customer with Eurostar as a client was commissioned to do some extensive works on the rolling stock maintenance workshops at Temple Mills ‘Train Maintenance Depot’ (TMD). As one would expect, Eurostar are an operation with significant engineering expertise and a high expectation of construction standards and safety procedures. So when the works required some specific excavations to be covered and then regularly crossed by site traffic and personnel, and their book of standards said 2 metre square and at least 20 mm thick, that’s exactly what our customer was expected to provide, and sharpish.
Luckily, because we carry such a range of sizes, we had some 2.0m x 2.0m x 25mm AIRSIDE Anti Skid that we could commandeer and keep the job moving along nicely.
