‘Flying Scotsman’ – A First Class Service!
We were very pleased to have the chance to work with our friends at the Watercress Line in Hampshire again, helping them gear up to welcome the record-breaking Flying Scotsman, the most famous steam locomotive in the world, for the first time this February. The locomotive will be in public service for four running days: 14th and 29th February and the 1st, 7th and 8th March 2020.
This engineering mega-star always pulls in huge crowds, so the management team knew that having a 1st class attraction with 2nd class car-parking access was not an option.
So we were called in for a temporary upgrade of the track ways around their field cum overflow car-parking area.
Our top team have been busily installing 500 + of the ever popular ZIGMATS.
Plus some walkovers to keep your feet out of the mud.
So visitors can be guaranteed a silky-smooth ride both on and off the rails!
